Harborwright sells the part only — we don't install it. These are general steps; your boat and the maker's manual come first. If you're not sure, have a marine shop fit it.
Safety: Tighten every bolt and recheck after the first tows. Climb only with the trailer hitched or chocked.
Steps
- Check your trailer's crossbeam or tongue size against the fit list (3 × 3, 3 × 5 or 4 × 4 in) and pick the spot near the bow where the steps clear the winch stand and the boat.
- Fit the mounting plates around the frame with the included bolts (bottom- or side-mount, depending on the option) and snug them.
- Set the step angle, mount the handrail on the side you want, and tighten everything.
- Check the steps clear the tow vehicle in tight turns before your first tow.
- Recheck the bolts after the first few trips.
Follow the maker's manual for your exact model first — they're linked with each part below.
