How to use a knotless slide anchor hook

Rigging a knotless anchor hook on your anchor line.

Harborwright sells the part only — we don't install it. These are general steps; your boat and the maker's manual come first. If you're not sure, have a marine shop fit it.

Safety: Use rope in the listed 3/8–5/8 in range and check the hook is fully engaged before relying on it.

Steps

  1. Fit the hook onto your anchor line as the instructions in the box show — no knot needed.
  2. Slide the hook to set how much line is out, then clip it to your bow eye, rail or cleat.
  3. To pull anchor or move, unclip, slide the hook and re-clip.

Follow the instructions that come in the box for your exact model first.
