Harborwright sells the part only — we don't install it. These are general steps; your boat and the maker's manual come first. If you're not sure, have a marine shop fit it.
Safety: Use marine carpet adhesive with good ventilation and follow the glue maker's directions.
Steps
- Remove old carpet and glue, and make sure the deck is clean, solid and dry.
- Unroll the carpet and let it relax flat for a few hours.
- Make paper templates of each panel, trace them on the back of the carpet, and cut with a sharp utility knife or scissors.
- Dry-fit every piece, then glue with an outdoor/marine carpet adhesive, rolling or pressing it down from the center out.
- Trim the edges once the glue sets.
