Harborwright sells the part only — we don't install it. These are general steps; your boat and the maker's manual come first. If you're not sure, have a marine shop fit it.
Safety: Fasten into studs, solid wood or masonry — not drywall alone — and stay within the rated load.
Steps
- Pick the wall and find the studs (or confirm brick or block) where the uprights will go.
- Hold each upright level, mark the holes, and check for wiring or pipes before drilling.
- Fasten the uprights with the included hardware, spaced to suit your boats.
- Fit the padded arms at the heights you need, using the preset holes.
- Lift the boats on hull-side down, centered on the arms, and use the tie-down points if the rack has them.
Follow the instructions that come in the box for your exact model first.
