Harborwright sells the part only — we don't install it. These are general steps; your boat and the maker's manual come first. If you're not sure, have a marine shop fit it.
Safety: Stay within the cart's rated load, and keep rod tips clear of people when you roll it.
Steps
- Lay out the parts and assemble the frame, axle and handle with the included hardware and wrenches.
- Fit the wheels. Inflate pneumatic tires to the pressure on the tire sidewall before loading.
- Fit the rod holders and any bag or bed, and tighten every bolt.
- Load heavy items low and centered over the axle, then strap them down.
- Rinse with fresh water after the beach and let it dry before folding.
Follow the maker's manual for your exact model first — it's linked with each part below.
