Harborwright sells the part only — we don't install it. These are general steps; your boat and the maker's manual come first. If you're not sure, have a marine shop fit it.
Safety: Fold the top down above 45 mph (VEVOR's limit) and when towing on the road.
Steps
- Measure your boat's width at the spot the top will mount, outside edge to outside edge, and check it falls inside the size range you picked.
- Unfold the frame, fit the canvas over the bows, and set it on the boat with the front over the helm.
- Mark where the frame's base fittings sit on each side. Check underneath for wiring before drilling, then mount the fittings with stainless screws and marine sealant (or rail mounts if your boat has rails).
- Pin the frame into the fittings, attach the 2 support poles and the 4 straps to solid points, and tension everything until the canvas is tight.
- To stow it, release the straps, fold the top back or down, and use the storage bag.
Follow the instructions that come in the box for your exact model first.
