Harborwright sells the part only — we don't install it. These are general steps; your boat and the maker's manual come first. If you're not sure, have a marine shop fit it.
Safety: Make sure it's holding before you leave the boat.
Steps
- Pick firm sand in shallow water or on the beach.
- Push the tip in and turn the handle clockwise until the spiral blade is fully buried.
- Tie your line to the anchor's tie-off point and to a bow or stern cleat.
- Pull on the line to check it holds.
- To remove it, turn counter-clockwise and lift. Rinse with fresh water afterward.
